We all know that Hong Kong is a fast paced concrete jungle. We are often overworked or stressed out with different responsibilities and pressure from our daily lives. How can we help our mind and bodies relax and regain a healthy balance? Essential oils may be the key to a healthier lifestyle.
Essential oils date back to ancient times when people used them for religious purposes and for healing the sick. It was used for cosmetic purposes, used spiritually or for its emotionally uplifting properties.
Essential oils can be used in three different ways. Essential oils can be inhaled or diffused, applied onto the body or ingested. I normally don’t recommend ingestion unless you have done a meticulous amount of research about how it’s distilled, handled and bottled. We can benefit from essential oils in bountiful ways. It can be used to promote a healthier lifestyle, strengthen the immune system and maintain a healthier lifestyle.
Since Summer is quickly approaching I thought I’d share some unique blends with you all to try in your diffusers!
When you’re staring out the window and wishing you were tanning on the beach but instead have to crush those deadlines!
Concentration & Memory Blend
8 Drops Basil
10 Drops Grapefruit
7 Drops Lavender
5 Drops Rosemary
Mix in a blending bottle or empty glass bottle. Add 8-10 drops of the Blend to your diffuser.
When Hong Kong summer weather gets unbearable and you need a pick me up!
Freshen Up Blend
2 Drops Rosemary
2 Drops Lavender
2 Drops Lemon
Add directly to your diffuser.
When you want to stay in but want to be teleported to somewhere exotic!
2 Drops Ylang Ylang
1 Drop Wild Orange
1 Drop Patchouli
1 Drop Sandalwood
